WHO Executive Board Agrees Resolution on Viral Hepatitis

In a major breakthrough following extensive lobbying from the WHA and patient groups, the 34 member states of the WHO EB have recommended a resolution on viral hepatitis to the World Health Assembly in May. Further Information 

 

The Canadian Society for International Health Launches the Global Hepatitis C Network

The Canadian Society for International Health, a non-governmental organisation that works domestically and internationally to reduce global health inequities and strengthen health systems, recently launched the Global Hepatitis C Network to increase awareness and understanding of issues related to the global hepatitis C epidemic in Canada and abroad.
